Is there a good place to find the drivers for Windows 7 driver cab file that covers all It looks like the NB 1.0 01/27/2011 Windows7 Combo CAB would cover it but I m6400 Precision mobile workstation, M6300, Mobile Workstation, Email me at warren_byle dell.com for a temporary download location.

There are two missing drivers in my Dell E6320:

Location: 0000.001d.0000.001.008.000.000.000.000

The drivers for this device are not installed. Code 28

In both cases I am not able to update the drivers since I cannot find them.

I have searched at the Dell site as well as in many other places.

You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.

The driver is a Dell Security w/o Fingerprint driver on my 6320 with the same missing driver.  I downloaded the 6320 driver cab from here:

Unzipped it using winzip and then had Win 7 search that folder and subfolders for the driver.  It loaded it right up.  will likely find the unknown for you as well in that folder.

I have followed your link but I couldn t install the drivers.

By the way I am running Windows 7 64bits in my Dell machine E6320.

The unknown device is probably the Freefall Sensor/Accelerometer. I can be found under the Applications tab on the Dell Support page for all E6320s.

Install Dell Control Point from the drivers page, select the correct OS and go, this should take care of the issue
